Quality Auditor
Job Summary
Quality Assurance Auditor - Performs a variety of quality control tests on products at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.
Job Duties
- Perform inspections of finished or in-process goods to ensure work instructions are met
- Use of required gaging instruments and the application of such instruments
- Complete first piece inspection if needed (i.e., checks that items produced pass quality control requirements)
- Record statistical data
- Analyze data and write summaries to validate or show deviations from existing standards
- Operates forklift equipment for receiving incoming material
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
- Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and Education
- Perform work under general supervision
- Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff
- Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter
- Typically require a high school diploma or equivalent and 0 to 2 years of experience
