As the Lead HVAC Installation Technician at MacLellan, you are part of Best People. You will learn and utilize our Best Systems to install, inspect, troubleshoot, service, and repair industrial and commercial heating, ventilating, air conditioning, along with electrical, mechanical, and energy management control systems. Because you are passionately committed to being the best, you engage our clients daily to grow our business relationships, using your foresight to see potential issues and by delivering timely solutions to avert those same issues to produce Best Results.
What are the skills necessary for success?
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Availability to work weekends and flexible hours as required by project schedules.
Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints.
Clear and effective communication skills.
Familiarity with ductwork, VRF systems, and Roof Top units.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation.
What experience is needed for success?
Lead a crew of 3 or more HVAC installers on job sites with commercial/industrial projects.
Manage time effectively on job sites to ensure timely completion of projects.
Read and interpret blueprints accurately to facilitate installation processes.
Communicate clearly and effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors.
Install Ductwork, VRF systems, and Roof Top units with precision and attention to detail.
Always ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues efficiently.
Provide on-the-job training and guidance to apprentice team members.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with Service Manager and other departments to achieve project goals.
