About Us:
MacLellan Integrated Services is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization offering a range of services including Critical Process Cleaning, Building & Process Equipment Maintenance, HVAC & Mechanical, Production Support, and Wastewater Management to a broad range of business partners across North America.
About You:
As the Maintenance Technician, you are part of Best People. You will work with other maintenance personnel utilizing our Best Systems, to complete project work including fabrication, installation, welding, grinding, painting, using hand tools and power tools. You have fundamental skills working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Because you are passionately committed to being the best, you seek opportunities to learn and grow your skillset. You help us to grow our business relationships, using your foresight to see potential issues and by delivering timely solutions to avert those same issues to produce Best Results.
Necessary Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent teamwork skills.
Ability to prioritize work to ensure team safety, quality, and delivery of assigned tasks.
Ability to fabricate guards, shields, stands, etc.
Necessary Experience:
Basic understanding of Pneumatics and Hydraulics and potential hazards
Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, basic metal working tools, understands difference between metric and standard threads, etc.
Experience performing work safely both indoors and outdoors.
Understand industrial grade of oils and grease, sealed vs. non sealed bearings, grease, oil and lube.
Understand basic theories of trouble shooting and basic electrical theory.
Experience and willingness working weekends.
Experience and ability to safely lift items up to 70 lbs.
Experience working in hot and damp environments, wearing PPE, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and standing/walking for extended periods of time.
