What will you be doing and learning?

The High School Summer Intern will develop foundational skills for a career in textbook publishing, including an understanding of how a textbook and its associated digital products are prepared for students and teachers, and how we gather and respond to market information.

Purpose & Responsibilities:

The High School team at BFW Publishers is looking for two summer interns to join their Editorial team. Interns will assist editorial staff in the preparation of High School, AP, and CTE Textbooks for publication, including:

• Conduct market research on select titles and media product
• Assist in preparing manuscripts and other resources for print and digital production
• Gather course leads and contacts to solicit for market review
• Work closely with editorial staff and textbook authors to ensure projects remain on task and on schedule for print and digital publication

Skills/Knowledge:

• You must be enrolled in a degreed program (i.e. Bachelor's, Master's, etc)
• We will accept applicants graduating from their degree in Spring 2025
• Recent graduates within the last 6 months will be considered

This internship is eligible for remote participation, excluding the following locations: Arizona, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Washington DC, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nevada, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington State, West Virginia, Wyoming.
