Assembler 4
An Assembler 4 is skilled specialist in reading and interpreting schematic drawings, blueprints, and diagrams to assemble electronic components and hybrid assemblies according to product specifications. Supports production and efficient machine operation, ensuring predefined targets are met. In depth knowledge of standard assembly concepts, practices, and procedures.

Assembler 4
An Assembler 4 is skilled specialist in reading and interpreting schematic drawings, blueprints, and diagrams to assemble electronic components and hybrid assemblies according to product specifications. Supports production and efficient machine operation, ensuring predefined targets are met. In depth knowledge of standard assembly concepts, practices, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, including setup, of manual and semiautomatic equipment for all mentioned processes
- Run preprogrammed automated equipment for component epoxy attach and wire bonding; machine programming experience a plus
- Work with hybrid technology including Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits (MMICs), capacitors, inductors, substrates, and other micro components
- Read and work to prototype and released assembly drawings, and process documents
- Willingness to make recommendations for changes to improve build processes or designs
- Work closely with a team of engineers and technicians on new product development
- Perform inventory operations including kitting, traceability, and material review
- Ability to do in-line quality and workmanship inspection on your work and others
- Train new personnel as required
- Other duties as assigned
- 10 years of related microelectronic integrated circuit assembly experience. Preferably in an engineering environment
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Experience with a broad range of Microwave/Microelectronic Integrated Circuit (MIC) assembly processes including epoxy die attach, solder attach, wire bonding, gap welding, pull testing and rework capability.
- Experience working in a clean room environment and support both engineering and production. Experience with automated equipment is a plus. - - - Experience with traditional solder assembly and equipment is a plus.
- Significant work experience using a microscope for assembly and inspection
- Good communication skills. Must have the ability to work within a team environment and communicate recommendations for improvements.
