Diodes Engineering Test Technician Intern
Role Overview:
As a member of the Engineering Lab Test team, the Diodes Engineering Test Technician Intern will work alongside experienced Engineers and Senior level technicians to characterize new products as part of our NPI process flow. These evaluations serve as opportunities to learn the theoretical and practical approach to performing DC and RF measurements. These measurements include, but are not limited to, S-Parameters, DC and/RF pulse power, IP3, IP2, P1dB, harmonics, thermal imaging, and switching speed. The intern will operate and perform test set-ups using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, peak power analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, pulse generators, power supplies, power meters, SMU’s, and multi-meters. Along with learning test techniques and the use of test equipment, the intern will learn about MACOM’s products and their operation.
During the 12 weeks each Intern will:
> Be given an individual and well-defined test projects and clear goals
> Gain hands-on test experience in an engineering test laboratory
> Receive excellent training and ongoing supervision
> Be invited to attend an intern webinar series
> Attend networking/social events
> Attend and present at Poster Session about each Interns project successes and pitfalls
> Receive formal, written feedback

Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
- US permanent resident or US citizen required due to ITAR restrictions.
