Director - Global Network Services
We are seeking a highly skilled Director - Global Network Services to design, implement, maintain, and manage a scalable and secure network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will work in close collaboration with the Information Security team to ensure that our network architecture complies with the highest security standards and effectively safeguards data integrity across all systems. Furthermore, this position entails managing a team of three network engineers.

Director - Global Network Services

Key Responsibilities
Network Design and Architecture:
- Develop and implement network architecture and design principles with a strong emphasis on security.
- Create detailed network design plans, including physical and logical designs, that incorporate robust security measures.
- Design network solutions that meet business requirements and comply with security standards.
- Collaborate with the Information Security team to integrate security measures into all network designs and implementations.
- Ensure proper implementation of network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits in collaboration with the Information Security team.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
- Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure seamless and secure integration of new technologies.
- Monitor network performance and ensure high levels of data quality and availability.
- Troubleshoot network issues and perform necessary repairs and upgrades.
- Conduct regular network performance tests and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including design specifications, diagrams, and protocols.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Conduct regular network audits and security assessments.
- Lead a team of network engineers, providing guidance, performance management, and professional development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Network Architect or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and security best practices.
- Experience with network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) and software (e.g., VPN, IDS/IPS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with managing a small team.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network ) are a plus.
