Factory IT Support Administrator
Responsible for setup and first line of support for Mfg. IT hardware and software needs and also for driving continuous improvement to the operations systems. The IT Support Administrator will provide sustaining support of factory computer and tablet-based workstations and software. This role will partner with operations and IT to troubleshoot and drive resolution of issues to support efficient manufacturing. This role will also coordinate with factory management to coordinate hardware / software updates. This is a dynamic role, often changing ‘hats’ daily to support various team needs.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain catalog of all factory hardware and software including specialty application software.
- Support and troubleshooting of factory specific hardware and software applications.
- Build familiarity with operator Manufacturing Execution System interactions to assist in continuous improvement in operator interaction with workstations.
- Partner with IT on maintenance and replacement of FAB PCs.
- Install into the factory of printers, tablets and PCs after they have been imaged by IT.
- First point of contact for fab related hardware and software issues and partner with IT on resolution.
- Work closely with fab supervision to coordinate activities.
- Partner with manufacturing personnel to highlight gaps and inefficiencies in the manufacturing IT systems and drive improvements to address them.
