Senior Logistics Coordinator - 2nd Shift (2pm-10:30pm Monday- Friday)
Position Overview:
- Oversees all stock room documentation and system transactional accuracy via Macom’s ERP and/or WH management system.
- Coordinates the execution of stock control, order picklists, and dispatch documentation as per order requirements.
- Works closely with external freight management providers regarding receipts/shipments as required.
- Provide logistics / stockroom support, ensuring targets are met.
- Uses existing procedures & training provided to create conduct various WH and/or ERP system adjustments as required.
- Liaises with external logistics companies and/or freight management reps to schedule receipt/dispatch bookings as required.
- Executes & ensures material accuracy and transactions are maintained to ensure full accurate alignment between physical available material compared to the inventory management/ERP system.
- Conducts various counts and/or system transactions to ensure materials and system quantities are in sync at all times.
- Applies general knowledge/supply techniques developed through Macom's defined logistics processes & ERP system requirements.
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of business procedures and process flows.
- Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of overall Macom logistics & supply chain theories.
- Uses existing logisitcs procedures to solve standard problems; analyses information and standard practices to make judgments.
- Liaise in a professional and efficient manner with Logistics Supervisor and/or Manager to resolve queries and provide regular updates.
- Communicate with internal warehouse personnel and external logistics personnel to ensure stock receipt/dispatch paperwork is compliant with procedures.
- Participate in and contribute to internal training as required.
- Strong appetite to develop logistical & associated ERP/WH Management system skills.
- Strong Analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Knowledge of ERP/WH system (inputs, logic and outputs).
- Minimum 2yrs of logistics equivalent experience (and/or completed 3rd level studies in applicable areas).
- Experience working with ERP and/or WH systems required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics and/or warehouse activities, working with ERP and/or WH systems required.
- Due to ITAR regulations, candidates must be a US Person.
