What to expect
Our technicians and assistants are utilized to the fullest of their abilities.
- They assist the veterinarian in all aspects of care, including appointments, surgeries, dentistry, emergencies, and in-patient care.
- Technicians are encouraged to use their education through critical thinking and hands-on skills.
- Our technicians and assistants work extensively with clients- through phone calls, appointment scheduling, check in/out, educating.
We value a team environment and enjoy helping and teaching others. We work hard to maintain a fun atmosphere while practicing quality medicine.
- Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with rotating Saturdays from 8 am to 12 pm. Closed on major holidays.
- Full-time or part-time hours are available. While the needs of the business must be met, we also value life outside of the clinic and believe that both are very possible. We make every effort for staff to be able to leave on time and take appropriate lunch hours, which is why hiring for this position and having appropriate staff is so important.
- Technicians and assistants rotate assisting in the exam rooms and with surgeries as well as receptionist duties. There is no “front vs. back” mentality as all share in the same responsibilities. This is also beneficial to our clinic because those scheduling appointments and surgeries as well as answering clients’ questions on the phone are well versed in every aspect of our clinic.
