Job Summary : As a Electrical Quality Engineer you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Electrical Control Products throughout the manufacturing process. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain quality control processes, drive continuous improvement, and uphold industry standards and regulations. This is 12 Months Contract to hire opportunity.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , or a related field.
Proven experience in a quality engineering role within the electrical manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
Familiarity with Electrical Testing and Inspection Techniques .
Excellent problem-solving skills, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) .
Proficiency in quality tools and software ( Six Sigma, Statistical Analysis, etc .).
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
Must have experience in a disciplined, responsive customer service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Quality Control : Monitor, evaluate, and maintain quality standards through all stages of manufacturing, from raw materials to finished goods.
Quality Assurance : Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
Process Improvement : Identify areas for process improvement and work with teams to implement changes that enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Documentation : Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective action plans.
Root Cause Analysis : Investigate and analyze quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Supplier Quality : Collaborate with suppliers to assess their quality management systems and work together to resolve quality-related issues.
Training : Provide training and guidance to manufacturing and quality control personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
Testing and Inspection : Work with Test and Inspection teams to ensure products meet defined specifications.
Continuous Improvement : Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, driving Lean Six Sigma and other quality methodologies within the organization.
