Job Summary : Our client is seeking an Industrial Electrician Supervisor for their underground zinc operation located within 2-hour drive of The Thousand Islands, Lake Ontario shoreline, the Adirondack Mountains and world class skiing at Lake Placid. Explore Canada with Montreal and Ottawa only 2-3 hours away.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise and manage the electrical team.
- Prioritize, coordinate and layout work for the day.
- Inventory, schedule, and order materials and supplies for upcoming work.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing electrical components, including PLC panels, drives, motors, fans, VFD's, transformers, pumps, and generators.
- Work with 4-20 mA, 4160, 13.8, AC up to 480v, 5kva, DC voltages.
- Read and follow prints.
- Assist the electrical team underground and on surface as needed.
- Capacity to develop knowledge of hoisting / crushing operations troubleshoot same.
