Disaster Restoration Technician - Apprentice

Restoration Technician Apprentice Job Summary

Our company is currently seeking a Restoration Technician Apprentice to join our team. While we prefer applicants with some construction or restoration experience, we will provide training if you have a positive attitude and are willing to work hard. This position mainly involves physical tasks and high attention to detail.

In this role, you will perform tasks as directed by the lead technician or project manager assigned to the job.

Restoration Technician Duties and Responsibilities

· Setup, takedown, cleaning of equipment as needed

· Removal of damaged and unsalvageable materials as directed (Demolition)

· Structural cleaning and restoration of building materials to include water, fire, and mold damaged properties.

· Move or cover furniture and client belongings as directed

· HVAC duct cleaning

· Operation of Truck mounted extraction and other equipment

· Assisting with Carpet and Floor Cleaning Activities

· Seasonal Service Work – Deck Staining and Holiday Light Installation

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Restoration Technician Requirements and Qualifications

· Desire and ability to give exceptional customer service

· A high school diploma or GED preferred (not required)

· Prior service work experience is a plus

· A valid driver's license is required

· Ability to read write and understand workflow directions

· Ability to interact with clients in a responsible and professional manner

· Highly motivated to work efficiently, and provide top notch service

· Maintain Professional appearance and wear required work uniform (Shirt and Hair Covering)

. Normal schedule is Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm.

Rotational Nights and Weekends On-Call is required and not negotiable as part of employment.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
