The Opportunity
This role is responsible for defining, developing, and managing Macquarie Cloud Services’ Cyber Security product offerings. The Product Manager is responsible for ensuring that Macquarie has the most compelling and effective managed security offerings in market whilst staying within our business design.
The role includes ownership of the full product roadmap for the Cyber Security product family.

- Manage the lifecycle of all products/solutions in the portfolio, from product/solution concept through business case, launch, migration, and end-of-life.
- Develop operational processes for Cyber Security Products and help deliver operational enablement training for new products.
- The role requires strategic thinking, customer insight and competitor analysis.
- Define pricing models, set market price strategy, perform detailed cost and pricing analysis working with commercial and manage price lists.
- Maintaining established vendor relationships.
- Through our New Introduction Process, the product manager then takes the product to market through defined stages.
- Communicating the product strategy and product positioning to internal and external audiences.
- At least 5 years’ experience in product management, managed hosting, IaaS, or data centre technologies in any technical role.
- Experience with SIEM, SOAR, and endpoint security technologies is required.
- Previous experience across Microsoft Security stack including Microsoft Sentinel and Defender is required.
- At least 3 years’ experience in either product managing or pre-sales for technology products – defining, designing, and bringing to market.
- Extensive experience across driving end-to-end product lifecycle from solution concept, business case until end-of-life.
- Strong experience in product development and operational enablement for cyber security products.
- Strong knowledge of commercial models for bringing products to market (revenue, profitability, value creation, positioning).
- Strong Documentation skills and the ability to write clear Product Requirements.
- Degree in Engineering/Computer Science and/or a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the IT&T industry.
- Industry or technology specific security certifications (i.e. CISSP, CISM, AZ-500, MS-500, CCNA/CCNP – Security) is desirable.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions, and/or Microsoft Sentinel is desirable.
- Hands on experience working with PCI-DSS, ISO27002, NIST, and/or CIS is desirable.
