Steward Job Description

An established, high-production bakery is hiring steward/sanitation employees to work full time. You must be a strong team player, good communicator, organized with great attention to detail, and over 18 years of age. Please have dependable transportation.

Steward Position:

• Sunday to Thursday (Off Friday and Saturday)
• 8:30am - 5pm (40 hours per week)

Ability to speak English is not required.

Summary of Position:

· Responsible for working with the steward team in keeping the bakery clean.

· Load and unload dishwasher safely and efficiently

· Responsibilities include: sweeping and mopping the floors

· Stocking ingredients received from vendors in FIFO manner

· Cleaning different pieces of equipment

· Collect ad remove compost, recycle, and garbage from the bakery

· Cleaning breakrooms and cleaning/restocking bathrooms

· Following and maintaining a high level of food safety

· Be physically able to lift 50 pounds, reach, bend and stoop.

Pay

Starting: $18.50-$18.50 / Hour

Wage Range: $18.50 - $22.25/ Hour
