What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Associate- Daytime Shift position at MACRO Industries?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with a team to assemble and finish armor panels.
• Ability to read company engineering drawings.
• Ability to read, execute, and fill out detailed work instructions.
• Set up and operate production machinery.
• Prepare materials for production.
• Ensure materials are used and handled appropriately.
• Ensure product meets quality standards.
• Assist with packaging and labeling finished products.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Use basic tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
Required Skills/Abilities
• Excellent mechanical background.
• Previous experience in an aerospace/defense manufacturing environment is desired but not required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to think quickly and identify/resolve problems.
• Demonstrated ability to run manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to work well independently and with a team.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours a day.
