As a Construction Quality Control Manager (QCM), you’ll use your knowledge of construction and exceptional organizational skills to ensure that our projects are built to meet or exceed the Client’s expectations. You’ll be part of the project’s key personnel team on-site. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. With a strong attention to detail, you’ll ensure that all project documentation is accurate and complete from pre-construction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the project-specific Quality Control Plan.Read, comprehend, and implement contract specifications.Communicate with the Client, the MZT Team, subcontractors, and suppliers via multiple methods (e.g., meetings, Outlook, letters, phone, Teams).Track, submit, prepare, review, and follow-through on submittals to ensure accurate, timely submissions. Ensure that design and construction submittals are reviewed and approved, as required by the contract, prior to allowing material on site and work to proceed with these items. Maintain a submittal log.Conduct preparatory and follow-up inspections for all features of work.Maintain the QC software.Prepare and submit timely reports.Coordinate testing services and supplemental inspections, including providing QC certifications and documentation as required by the contract. Maintain a testing plan and log.Maintain deficiency log on site, noting dates deficiency identified, and date corrected.Fulfill LEED coordinator duties, as applicable.Attend project meetings.Complete all QC system documentation, such as daily QC reports and record drawing maintenance.Engage in site safety.Conduct weekly QC meetings.Coordinate with the Superintendent and certified inspectors to inspect all work and rework. Identify, record, track, and monitor completion of re-work items.Schedule and manage weekly project stakeholder meetings.Ensure that all required keys, operation and maintenance manuals, warranty certificates, and the As-built drawings are correct and complete, in accordance with the contract, and submitted to the Contracting Officer.Notify the Contracting Officer of any proposed changes to the QC plan.Retain a copy of approved submittals at project site, including Contractor's copy of approved samples.Qualifications & Experience
Minimum five years’ experience in constructionExperience in both civil / horizontal and building / vertical constructionExcellent written and verbal communicationCurrent QC certification with Army Corps of Engineers or Navy (Construction Quality Management for Contractors – USACE CQM-C) strongly preferredB.S. degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferredAbility to pass a background check to gain access to work on military basesExperience with federal or public works construction projects is preferredTechnical Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office : Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.Other construction management platform experience desired (e.g., Primavera P6, RMS, Oracle, etc.)What We Offer
