What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipper / Receiver position at Macron Dynamics, Inc.?
Shipper / Receiver is a specialist position responsible for maintaining control of Macron raw material, work-in-process and finished goods inventories. The Shipper / Receiver performs material handling duties such as loading and unloading trucks and also is the company driver running routes to/from vendors and customers.
The Shipper / Receiver interfaces with Program Managers, Materials Technicians and Manufacturing Technicians in the execution of the role. The Shipper / Receiver prepares and loads all shipping containers, crates and packages to protect the products and goods from damage during storage and shipment.
Computer use is necessary to prepare shipping documentation and coordinate transportation.
Experience requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 0-3 years Inventory handling and storage experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Valid Driver’s License and driving record.
· Candidate will have good communication skills and experience with ERP systems and computers.
· This is a physically demanding position. Candidate requires full mobility and must be aware of safe lifting procedures and practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
