Position Summary
Create, maintain, and continuously improve the schedule for the assigned product and machines. Provide operations support through analysis of schedule utilization and communicate improvement actions to the appropriate Dept. in the Mactac network. Facilitate concise clear communications between Inventory Planning, Scheduling, Operations, Sourcing, Marketing and Sales. Effectively performing these assigned duties will result in high service levels, healthy inventory levels, improved plant OEE, profitable sales, waste reduction and cost improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Prepares and communicates daily production schedules with Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, Sales, as well as works with Sourcing to ensure materials needed for production are ready and available when needed.
· Identify and communicate any continuous improvement opportunities including service issues, inventory concerns, or delays to the appropriate business unit.
· Develop and improve the scheduling process to include implementation and utilization of JDE/Greycon and schedule attainment.
· Provide analysis using the ERP system, schedule attainment tracker, and supporting analytical tools (Power BI).
· When necessary revises production schedules and communicates revised order due dates by collaborating with operations management, customer service and sales.
· Maintain capacity reports and fully understand the supported process in order to identify constraints to meet current demand or available open capacity.
· Work with Operations Manager and Supervisors to improve the schedule when required.
· Cross train with other schedulers to further knowledge in other areas for filling in during absences.

- Daily contact with all departments with relation to work assignments and direction.
- Frequent contact with Operators, Supervisors, Inventory Planning, Operations, Sourcing, and Sales/Marketing.

- As required to support the scheduling and planning process.
Selection Criteria:
- Education:
- Minimum high school diploma, desired bachelor's degree in operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- List preferred additional education/certification/training
- Experience:
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in similar roles in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated in identifying and addressing process improvements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, to work with all departments.
- Must have analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must have time management skills to handle multiple ongoing projects in addition to day-to-day process problems.
- Experience in scheduling production machines.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Power BI, and Excel.
- Understanding of Inventory management principles.
- Experience with manufacturing ERP systems.
