Job Requirements:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Inventory Management Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing spare machine parts and components, as well as maintaining accurate records of inventory levels.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and store all spare machine parts and components
- Maintain a system on all spare parts, providing part identification, receivers by date, distributions by date, desired minimum-maximum inventory levels, etc.
- Identify problem areas in inventory control and bring them to the attention of the Parts Storeroom Supervisor with a recommendation for solution
- Assist vendors in unloading large parts at points of delivery
- Perform physical inventory counts on high-use items and at satellite storage areas
Work Environment:
This position requires daily lifting and moving of received parts (can be up to 50 lbs.). The job does require forklift operation to move heavy parts and equipment. Approximately 80-90% of the work performed in this position will be done standing.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years of experience in inventory management or related field
