Position Summary:
We are looking for a full-time Quality Lab Technician to add to our team. If you enjoy testing various materials and compounds, establishing methods and procedures, while partnering with management to solve various issues, this position is for you.

We are a 60 year old company that specializes in pressure sensitive adhesives (aka, sticky stuff). If an item needs a label, or any adhesive solution, we have a talented network of employees to find solutions for our customers that, well, stick! Produce labels, floor graphics, industrial or medical tapes (just to name a few), we have it and excel at providing top notch solutions and services to our customers.
A Day in The Life as a Quality Lab Technician:
Working within our lab gives you the opportunity to work cross-divisionally within our manufacturing facility. Primarily, you will be investigating and dispositioning materials, addressing any customer concerns, and evaluating samples for claims to determine solutions for various scenarios that arise. You will be engaging with team members within all departments to help audit processes to drive continuous improvement within the site. Additionally, our Quality Lab Techs assist Research & Development with additional testing on current and in-process product as well as verification and calibration of the Quality Lab equipment to ensure it is working within all areas of the plant.
As data points are collected, you will be able to present trends and potential solutions to the various teams to continually improve what we do within the organization. New projects, products, and assets are consistently coming through the facility giving you the ability to learn and grow within your position and the organization.
Job Qualifications / What We Are Looking For:
- 1 - 3 years of experience within a manufacturing laboratory performing routine lab tests, familiar with standard laboratory equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of an organization
- Strong problem solving and ability to analyzing data, reporting abnormalities, and finally presenting findings to the appropriate manager
- Basic math skills with emphasis on measurable impact of mathematical equations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite required
- Self-driven and excited to take on additional responsibilities as they grow within their position
