At Macungie Borough, we are seeking a skilled Public Works Worker to join our team. As a Department of Public Works Worker, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the Borough's public water, sewer and road systems, public buildings and grounds, and public improvements network.
The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of public water systems operation, road and street maintenance, public sewer system operations, and commercial equipment operations.
This is a full-time, hourly position that requires independence and good judgment. The role involves general maintenance tasks and rotating responsibility for on-call duty.
We are looking for someone with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a commercial driver's license and have experience with commercial equipment operations.
