What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Mad Anthony's Inc?
The open bookeeper position is for Saturday and Sunday mornings, with some vacation coverage if needed for head bookkeepers. The position is for Anthony's at Spokane Falls and for Churchill's Steakhouse. The candidate selected will perform weekend bookkeeping duties at both locations on the weekends.
Position Summary: This position is responsible for accurate reconciliation and reporting of sales, bank deposits, credit card transmittals, petty cash reconciliation, and reporting, payroll input, personnel files and records, invoice coding, POS programming, and office administration.
Job Specifications
Education:
High School graduate or equivalent is required. Post-secondary education is desirable.
Experience:
Previous bookkeeping, accounting and/or cash handling experience required. General office experience is desirable.
Qualifications:
Computer experience with word processing, spread sheets, and 10 key by touch is required. Must be able to get along with all levels of management and team members.
Physical:
Requires fingering, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, keyboarding/data entry, verbal communication and visual acuity.
Wages and Benefits
$20.00 - $25.00 hourly
Full time employees maintaining an average of 25 hours a week have an option to enroll in medical insurance and an HSA account while those who maintain 20 hours can choose to enroll in dental, vision, voluntary life, and pet Insurance. Employees are enrolled in the company’s 401k plan with an annual discretionary match after one year of employment. Vacation and Sick Time are each separately front loaded at the beginning of the calendar year with 10 days annually and prorated depending on the time of year. Additionally, each manager will have 3 personal floating personal days to be used annually.
