Position Summary

The Jr Account Manager is the liaison between their respective team members and management. They are responsible for developing in-depth knowledge of the requirements and processes for the account(s) and departments on their team. They will delegate tasks as well as support and guide the other team members to ensure timely and successful delivery of our product according to customer needs. They will also work with their team to develop and complete projects and implement new processes to increase efficiency and develop better workflows. The ability to anticipate problems and plan is essential for success in this position. Please note, this position requires the ideal candidate to be a strong multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage tasks effectively as well as communicate internally and externally efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for all matters specific to your account(s).
- Manage various tasks utilizing team members while reviewing workload to ensure consistent service.
- Prepare various reports for your account(s) to assist with tracking and resolving issues.
- Responsible for ensuring completion of all tasks necessary to complete an order according to the proper timelines (including order entry in our ERP system, item set-up and customer specific requirements).
- Assist with challenging client requests or issues, escalations as needed.
- Coordinate and follow up with other departments from time of receipt to delivery of goods to ensure that all aspects of orders are completed in a timely manner.
- Communicate with team members and outside contractors in a professional and concise manner.
- Track and report order statuses while ensuring orders ship without issue.
- Process all incoming POs via EDI, web portals and emails.
- Document and set up the order processes and requirements for new & existing customers.
- Review vendor manuals and communicate with sales rep to clarify any potential issues in a proactive manner.
- Overall proactive approach to work, taking ownership of tasks, moving forward as appropriate to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Research and resolve chargebacks from customers to prevent future occurrences.

The environment can be fast-paced and requires the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet various deadlines. Although it is a casual work environment, professionalism and proper work etiquette are expected.
Physical / Mental Requirements
This position is mostly stationary. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop. The employee must be able to lift and / or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus in order to accommodate frequent reading and analyzing details on various spreadsheets and templates. The person in this position frequently communicates with various other departments and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. High levels of problem solving, analytical thinking and interpreting data are required daily in order to make the appropriate decisions in each scenario.
