Position Summary
The Licensing Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Licensing Operations. Acts as contact for the approval's sales updates and submission of concept, pre-production, and production samples to licensors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Follow procedures when releasing new or updated art to sales or artists.
Manage and organizes licensing folders relating to approval status and special comments by licensor.
Communicates with Licensing Director and Design department to follow up on art rejections, rush submittals, and various outstanding.
Perform routine maintenance on assigned licenses (TBD), such as moving jpegs, formulating lists for outstanding production samples needed, submitting work orders and keeping track of pending issues by posting information on department project list board.
Develop sense of "ownership" for all projects.
Works with Licensing Director on competitive analysis, mall / store checks and sales analysis to locate gaps in the business by license type, gender / age range and retailer.
Will learn how to read licensing agreements to further support Licensing Director.
Perform work within many software applications including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office.
Takes actions to correct errors and shares ideas about improving processes.
Follow through on projects for accuracy, proper results, and limiting errors.
Know to ask what each job requires and ask appropriate questions to complete.
Learn, understand, and follow departmental procedures.
Attend and participate in department meetings.
Flexible and positive team player.
Ability to adapt to multiple projects in any given workday.
Occasional duties include drives to UPS for deliveries, running errands for department as needed, assist in cleanliness of department areas.
Minimum Qualifications
Familiar with MS Office Suite and Excel.
Ability to access information from the internet
Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts and maintain confidentiality
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High level of attention to detail
Ability to implement projects in an effective and timely manner.

Physical Requirements
