In This Role, You Will
- Oversee and manage the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and growth objectives.
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and receivable, ensuring timely processing and resolution of financial discrepancies.
- Lead the preparation and management of the company’s financial budget, ensuring resource allocation aligns with business needs.
- Conduct financial analysis and recommend cost-cutting measures, investment opportunities, and strategies for maximizing profitability.
- Collaborate with other departments, including HR, Operations, and Product Management, to provide financial insights that support decision-making.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, providing coaching and professional development opportunities.
- Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth financial audits.
- Provide relevant feedback to senior management on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or CFA certification preferred).
- 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting software, and financial modeling techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting within an IT or tech-focused company.
- In-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks, tax laws, and financial compliance.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency with financial software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, ERP systems).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
