Bus Driver
5 hours per day
Starting Salary: $22.80 per hour
Insurance available (medical, dental, vision, and life insurance)
Must pass BCI and FBI fingerprint checks
Must hold valid CDL with school bus and passenger endorsements
MINIMUM SKILLS/JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or its equivalency.
2. Possess effective communication skills; both oral and written.
3. Willingness to assist with the requirements of special needs students.
4. Possess a positive attitude toward special needs students.
5. Ability to lift and/or manipulate body weight of children – minimum weight 50 lbs.
6. Ability to climb stairs and lift/manipulate wheelchairs with students.
7. Valid CDL with school bus and passenger endorsements.
8. A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
9. Meets qualifications defined in the current Ohio Revised Code, Ohio Pupil Transportation Operation & Safety Rules, and School Board Policy.
