Camp Schedule: June 2 to Aug 15
- Camps are one week in duration, running multiple weeks throughout the summer.
- Instructors will teach the same camp each week at different locations around St. Louis.
Job Summary
- As a Mad Scientist, you will lead students through an inquiry-based discovery method involving instructor demonstrations, hands-on activities, and amazing take-home projects that will illustrate how science affects the world around us. Mad Science is the world’s leading provider of fun science programs for elementary-aged children.
Responsibilities
- Lead week-long, full-day science summer camps using a pre-set curriculum.
- Teach a high-energy, part entertainment, part education, hands-on camp from 8:30 am-3:30 pm Monday through Friday.
- Most important: Get kids excited about science!
Qualifications
- Passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.
- Background in education or related fields preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage and engage a group of elementary-aged children.
- Reliable transportation to travel to different camp locations in St. Louis.
