Mad Science and Crayola Imagine Arts Academy of Northeast Ohio, the leading providers of hands-on STEAM programming for children throughout the northeast Ohio area are currently looking to fill the role of Inventory/Equipment Specialist, which is an integral part of our team. Our office is located in Stark County, Ohio, which is where at least 90% of the job occurs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Takes initiative and ownership over all aspects of inventory management
- Maintains a high volume of kits in good working order for instructor usage
- Ensures an adequate inventory of all supplies, materials, and branded take home items in an organized, “ready to pull” manner
- Projects the upcoming needs of the organization regarding equipment, materials, and branded take homes
- Sources and orders equipment, materials, and supplies in a timely and efficient manner
- Shops for local items, seeking to receive the most competitive price on goods
- Builds and assembles new kits as required * Participates in beta testing of new programming in conjunction with R&D Department, as needed
- Effectively utilizes time to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency
- Manages and directs any part-time equipment staff
- Provides guidance and constructive feedback to the equipment team and instructors
- Possesses a positive, flexible, can-do attitude and is willing to think outside the box in order to ensure a job well done
- Keeps an open line of communication with the administrative team (Operations/Sales/Director)
- Assists with orientation/training of instructors
- Presents programming as needed
- Delivers kits, supplies, etc.
- Cleans and maintains all equipment areas
