Job Summary
- As a Mad Scientist, you will lead students through an inquiry-based discovery method involving instructor demonstrations, hands-on activities, and amazing take-home projects that will illustrate how science affects the world around us. Mad Science is the world’s leading provider of fun science programs for elementary-aged children.
Responsibilities
- Lead week-long, full-day science summer camps using a pre-set curriculum.
- Teach a high-energy, part entertainment, part education, hands-on camp from 8:30 am-3:30 pm Monday through Friday.
- Most important: Get kids excited about science!
Qualifications
- Instructional experience working with groups of elementary-age children.
- A reliable car
- Must be available to work multiple weeks throughout the summer.
- Fun and outgoing personality!
- Completes background check
- Teaching certification, degrees and/or graduate degrees are a plus.
Salary : $600
