Join a growing company dedicated to getting kids excited about science! Mad Science is the area's premier provider of STEM enrichment programming and entertainment. We are a local franchise of the Mad Science Group, which has been providing STEM based programming for more than 30 years. We are currently hiring for a NEW Outbound Sales Representative position based in Milwaukee, two positions are available.

The Job:

- You can work anywhere from 2-5 days between 8-5pm for a total of 20-30 hours per week, We are flexible on exact days/times.
What will you do?
- As an Outbound Sales Representative for Mad Science, you'll be proactively prospecting, engaging, and activating new customers in our Milwaukee, Northern Illinois and Detroit markets. You will responsible for generating monthly sales through outbound cold calling and lead generation.
- You will be assigned a specific area and be tasked with analyzing the market in an effort to drive new customers to our locations.
- Flexible schedule, daytime hours 3-4 days per week, flexible starting times anytime 8:00-9:30, typical ending times betwwen 4:30-6pm.
Qualifications/Skills include:
- Min. High School Diploma / GED with prior sales or marketing experience of at least 1-3 years in a related or similar field.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, yet follow company policies, procedures and methods.
- Working understanding of Microsoft Office and Google Suite and capable of adapting learning to incorporate new technology.
- Prior experience with Quickbooks and a CRM is desired, but we are willing to train.
- Must possess excellent prospecting, negotiating and closing skills.
- Excellent communication skills with pleasant and professional tone of voice.
- Passion for finding the right solution for the customer and take pride in knowing we are impacting kids lives with our programming!
- Demonstrated strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills. At times you will need to use use considerable judgment in the determination of actions to be taken to make new sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Must be highly motivated without constant supervision.
Pay: Starting at $18-20 per hour plus bonus, target pay rate $24 on up
