As we continue to expand, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team and help us build a strong, supportive, and compliant workforce.
Position Overview :
The Human Resources Manager will oversee key HR functions including talent acquisition, payroll processing, benefits administration, employee relations, learning & development, and maintaining company compliance. In addition to these responsibilities, the HR Manager will be the direct supervisor to the HR Assistant, guiding them in their day-to-day tasks and professional development. This individual will be a trusted partner to both management and employees, fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring the company meets all HR-related legal and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, possesses at least 7 years of HR experience, and has a strong background in managing the day-to-day HR operations for a dynamic business.
Key Responsibilities :
Talent Acquisition :
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, from posting job openings to onboarding new hires.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Utilize job boards, social media, and networks to attract top talent, particularly in a competitive luxury retail market.
- Conduct interviews, evaluate candidates, and make recommendations to leadership.
Payroll & Benefits Administration :
Oversee payroll processing using ADP TotalSource, ensuring accurate and timely payment for all employees.Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.Serve as the primary point of contact for employees with benefits-related inquiries and issues.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.Employee Relations :
Act as a trusted advisor for both employees and leadership, promoting positive workplace relationships.Resolve employee concerns and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.Develop and implement initiatives to increase employee engagement and satisfaction.Handle disciplinary actions, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.Learning & Development :
Identify training needs and work with leadership to implement development programs.Organize and facilitate employee training sessions, both in-person and virtually, to promote continuous learning.Support leadership in succession planning and talent development strategies.Monitor and track employee progress in development programs.Compliance & HR Administration :
Ensure company-wide compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices.Maintain accurate employee records in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.Prepare and submit required HR reports and documentation to regulatory agencies.Regularly review and update company policies and employee handbooks to ensure legal compliance.Team Supervision & Development :
Directly supervise and mentor the HR Assistant, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.Delegate tasks and oversee the HR Assistant’s performance to ensure smooth daily operations.Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with the HR Assistant to discuss progress, challenges, and career development goals.Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.7 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on talent acquisition, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance.Proven experience working with ADP TotalSource for payroll and HR management.Fluent in Spanish (both written and spoken) preferred.In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and luxury retail environment.Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Preferred Qualifications :
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.Experience in wholesale retail or luxury retail industry.Work Environment :
