We are currently on the lookout to find fun-loving, enthusiastic individuals to join our Greeter Team!
As a part-time Team Merlin Greeter, you will be the first point of contact for our restaurant guests. You will handle the organization and guest flow of the front of house host stations as well as assist with setup and tear down of guest-facing areas. You will deliver the highest possible standards of guest service, presentation, and product knowledge. You will ensure that our guests are receiving optimal fun by connecting with them in a magical, fun, and safe environment.
Responsibilities:
- Adopts an enthusiastic, assertive, and passionate approach to Guest Service, and demonstrates the Merlin Values at every opportunity.
- Greets and acts as the first contact with restaurant and bar guests.
- Assists guests with seating and smooth operations of the host stand.
- Helps develop and lead revenue generating initiatives and programs in conjunction with leadership team.
- Must understand and meet all guest expectations and be able to effectively communication and provide services to guests in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
- Assists in set-up of daily work assignments and sections.
- Must possess in-depth knowledge of the restaurant menu, product list, and preparation procedures.
- Responsibility to ensure compliance of Health, Safety & Security within the workplace, including COVID-19 policies, practices, and regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
About You
- Experience within a full-service restaurant environment preferred; cash-handling experience beneficial.
- Fun, dynamic, and friendly personality.
- Excellent communication, listening, and motivational skills.
- Hospitable nature with a desire to give service of the highest possible level.
- Able to work in areas with loud noises and confined spaces.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged hours and interact with guests and employees in a fast-paced, multitask environment in variable temperatures and weather conditions.
- Must be able to pass a Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Exam within 30-days of employment.
