Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our café, providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with their orders, managing cash transactions, and maintaining the cleanliness of the café area, as well as drink building, sharing of coffee knowledge, and efficient workflow. A passion for coffee, along with strong communication skills, will be essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with menu selections.
- Prepare beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including dining spaces and food preparation areas.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Utilize retail math skills to manage transactions effectively.
- Undergo continuous training program to stay up to date on your skills and our coffee offerings.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food service or retail industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with drink preparation and café operations is a plus.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in managing transactions.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
