Maddens is currently seeking a Linen Driver who will be responsible for the distribution of clean and dirty linens and the removal of guest garbage.
- Transports clean linen to individual linen closets and designated housekeeping areas.
- Picks up and transports all large or heavy items in assistance with the housekeeping department.
- Maintains housekeeping carts and ensures that all are cleaned weekly.
- Picks up and removes all guest room garbage and dirty linens.
- Utilizes basic tools for general maintenance requests.
- Responds in a courteous manner to guests questions and concerns.
- Examines and sorts articles to be cleaned into lots, according to color, fabric, dirt content and cleaning technique.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.

- The ability to establish and maintain relationships with vendors and markets is essential.

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates/Licenses:
- Valid Driving License and company approval to drive company vehicles.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions, including heat. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and drive; talk or hear; stand; climb stairs; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move and carry upstairs 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 75 pounds or more.
Expected Hours of Work:
Varying work schedule during summer months including nights and weekends.
Travel:
Less than 10% travel required.
