Maddens is currently seeking a Room Inspector to ensure our guest rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
- Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms and public areas, including all furniture, fixtures, linens and amenities.
- Check for any maintenance issues (e.g., plumbing, lighting, HVAC) and report them promptly.
- Monitor quality of room setups, ensuring consistency in presentation according to Maddens standards.
- Provide feedback to Housekeeping staff regarding improvements and offer training when necessary.
- Maintain detailed reports of inspections and any necessary follow-ups.
- Responds in a courteous manner to guests questions and concerns.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or experience in hotel housekeeping/inspection roles
Certificates/Licenses:
- Valid Driving License and company approval to drive company vehicles.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions, including heat. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and drive; talk or hear; stand; climb stairs; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move and carry upstairs 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 75 pounds or more.
Expected Hours of Work:
Morning shifts as early as 7am to as late as 4:30pm.
Travel:
Less than 10% travel required.
