Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Shipping Assistant for a long-term role with a plastics manufacturing company located in Tigard, OR. The person in this position coordinate shipping, packaging and received components, supplies and materials according to company / customer specifications.
Pay : $22 / hr
Shipping Assistant Responsibilities :
- Process all outbound shipments in accordance with company / customer requirements using MRP system
- Operate MRP System, verifying all information as the order is processed, input the correct information as required.
- Perform shipping and packaging responsibilities for outbound / inbound freight - packaging products, documentation preparation, contacting carriers, international shipments, etc.
- Maintain records as required according to industry standards and company practices
- Perform driving responsibilities to deliver or pick-up merchandise according to company requirements.
- Cross-train in all essential requirements of the Inventory / Receiving Group
- Assist the Inventory / Receiving Group throughout designated shift whenever primary Shipping duties are completed
