About The Job

You'll directly code and develop custom websites using WordPress and other technologies, including building custom Gutenberg blocks instead of relying on page builders like Elementor. As a mid-level developer, you'll be expected to have a solid technical foundation with WordPress. You'll need to know your way around a variety of platforms and tools, and you'll need to be up-to-date on the modern ways that websites are built and deployed. Your day-to-day will include working with other developers, design, and content teams to build amazing WordPress and web solutions for our clients. We are fast-moving, and we respond quickly to what our clients need from us. It will be your job to help us do that.

This is a 1099 contractor position with the potential to transition into a full-time W-2 hire. This is a developer position; as part of the interview process, you'll be expected to showcase strong coding proficiency.

Tech specs

• You bring direct relevant experience with writing code using the WordPress Codex.
• You have experience in other stacks, platforms, and modern build processes outside of WordPress.
• We are an agency, so we are a creative bunch. You'll do well if that sounds good to you.
• You know when you don't know an answer, but you also go get that answer on your own.
• You have built more than a few consumer-facing websites that focus on results.
• Clients need to marvel at your ability to speak human with them.
• You respect "pixel perfect" but you also contribute your expertise to the project.
