Maddens is currently seeking a Full- Time Seasonal Assistant Golf Pro position that will assist with the management of daily golf operations including managing and tracking play, protecting and controlling assets, supervising golf staff, assisting with all merchandising functions, managing tournaments, assisting with golf clinics, and providing other professional services to ensure an exceptional golf experience for all guests.

- Supervise and manage the total golf operations in a professional and efficient manner in the absence of the Head Golf Professional/Golf Shop Mgr.
- Provide excellent customer services, professional advice and assistance to all patrons.
- Control and manage play; ensure guest check-in and fee collection in coordination with the starter.
- Provide golf instruction and clinics that is consistent with instructional methods, policies and procedures.
- Supervise, schedule and train golf shop personnel as directed by the Golf Shop Manager.
- Assist in the receipt, display, inventory, control, promotion and sales of merchandise.
- Be informed about and promote all club activities and services.
- Manage the handicap program.
- Assist in managing tournaments and outings.
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner and always maintain a professional image.
- Publicity and promotion on Maddens Resort knowledgeable in all resort activities and promoting all its facilities.
- Assist in the Running of the Leagues.
- Serve all guests with a Can Do Attitude.
- Assist with the caddie program.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Education/Experience:
Certificate from college, technical school or accredited facility; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in multiple outlets and facilities.
Physical Demands:
Primarily walking or standing for prolonged periods of time. occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift golf bags sometimes repeatedly
Expected Hours of Work:
Variable work schedule with weekends included.
Travel:
Less than 10% travel required.
