What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Server position at Madden's on Gull Lake?

Maddens is currently seeking Banquet Servers for our summer 2025 season.
- Set up and tear down all event spaces according to Banquet Event Order (BEO) details and Maddens standards. Examples include tables, chairs, podiums, stages, and risers.
- Working under the instructions of an Event Services Manager.
- Ensuring the event space, hallways, kitchen, and storage rooms are clean and organized.
- Helping to set up sound and lighting equipment.
- Set up and maintain smaller events. For example: coffee breaks, bag lunches, and meeting refreshments.
- Assist Banquet staff with Serving and setting up of food and beverage when needed.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent listening, speaking, and communication skills.
- Great decision-making skills.
- Must be able to work alongside other people and independently.
- Preferred general knowledge of audio and AV systems but will train.
- High level of attention to detail
- Committed to teamwork.
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong organizational skill
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
Work is performed at multiple different event outlets, both indoors and outdoors.
Physical Demands:
Primarily standing for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours). occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
Expected Hours of Work:
Variable work schedule with nights, weekends and holidays required.
Travel:
Less than 10% travel required.
