What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bar Manager/Bartender/MOD position at Maddie's Wine and Whiskey?
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Handle cash transactions and operate cash register (Toast)
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Qualifications:
- 2 years experience minimum as a bartender / Manager is necessary.
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixing techniques
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating tips
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol
- Familiarity with the hospitality industry, banquet or catering experience is a plus
