Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will be responsible for managing guest relations and seating arrangements in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with an engaging first impression of the restaurant.
• Manage the seating chart efficiently to ensure smooth flow and minimize wait times for guests.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with reservations and inquiries while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate guest seating and special requests.
• Assist guests with any needs or concerns, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
• Utilize Aloha POS or similar systems to manage reservations and track guest flow effectively.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Familiarity with food service operations is a plus.
• Experience using POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and helping others create memorable experiences.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
