Contract Attorney – Financial Services and Real Property Litigation

Maddin, Hauser, Roth & Heller, PC
Southfield, MI Contractor
POSTED ON 2/15/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 8/12/2025

Our firm has a unique opportunity for a lawyer who:

  • Has the precise skills we need and is ready to jump in on a part- to full-time contract basis.
  • Might be semi-retired or winding down their practice but wants to stay in the game.
  • Practices in-house but has time to devote to other, non-conflicting matters.
  • May be returning to the practice after some time away.
  • Wants to learn new skills to add to their already solid talents.
  • Prefers practicing as an independent contractor instead of being an FTE.

MADDIN, HAUSER, ROTH & HELLER, P.C. seeks an experienced lawyer to support our Financial Services and Real Property Litigation team. Candidates must have at least three years of experience in the practice of law, strong academic credentials, and superior writing, research, advocacy, and communication skills. Familiarity with business and contractual disputes, title issues, real estate and mortgage litigation, general civil litigation, construction disputes, and financial services issues and regulations is a definite plus.

While this is a contract position, it requires drive, desire, and dedication to performing at a high level. There may be potential for a longer-term, full-time employment relationship in the future.

If you’re a new law graduate, lack litigation experience, or cannot offer more than 20 hours per week, do NOT apply. But if you see yourself in the description above, we’d like to talk with you. Please submit your resumé and writing samples to Tanya Lundberg (tlundberg@maddinhauser.com) to be considered for this position.
