WHAT YOU’LL DO:
We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic HR Manager, who will play a critical role in attracting top talent, supporting employees, and developing programs that enhance our company culture. The HR Manager will work closely with leadership to ensure HR practices align with our company values and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting and Talent Acquisition
- Lead and manage the end-to-end recruiting process, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and interview strategies.
- Source and attract top talent through various channels, including job boards, referrals, and networking.
- Streamline and enhance the interview and selection process for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement strategies to strengthen employer branding and make Made By Mary an employer of choice.
Employee Relations and HR Compliance
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on workplace concerns, policies, and procedures.
- Handle employee relations matters with professionalism, ensuring fair and consistent resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (including Utah-specific regulations).
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook as needed.
- Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews to identify areas for improvement.
People Programs and Culture Initiatives
- Develop and manage employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Implement and oversee recognition programs to celebrate employee achievements.
- Partner with leadership to create wellness, training, and development programs.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace.
- Organize and coordinate company events to strengthen team morale and culture.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist or HR manager role.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in recruiting, employee relations, and culture-building initiatives.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion, empathy, and professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across the organization.
- Experience working with small to mid-sized companies is a plus.
