What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Associate position at Made by Meg Catering?
Busy event Catering Company is looking to add an Associate to the Operations Department.
This full time position would include placing orders, shopping when needed, administration, food load outs and providing support to the operations department.
This positions requires a person who is willing to jump in wherever needed and one who possesses a positive attitude and a great attention to detail and excellence.
Schedule is Thursday - Monday & Full-Time
Experience working in Catering or Events and/or food knowledge is appreciated. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, safely, required.
List of Job Duties:
Orders (Gathering, estimating, placing, confirmation, arranging pickup/delivery, confirming accurate/timely delivery of product, presenting the invoice for payment after review)
All food pack out for events
Problem solving when event staff are at events.
Working with Operations department to handle and produce all event details.
Checking inventory of regular smallwares to place timely orders.
Be as efficient as possible with orders placed – reducing orders placed as possible and shipping charges.
In charge of preparing Tasting Room for tastings.
Estimating and ordering event linens from current laundry provider
Shopping for event supplies or kitchen needs when needed.
Assisting our beverage department with unloading and inventorying post events.
