What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at MADE Hotel?
We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking and dining experience throughout the MADE Hotel property (Lobby Bar and Good Behavior Rooftop Bar). We looking to add team members and hours of operation in our rooftop space and will be debuting a new concept in the lobby of the hotel soon and need passionate people to join. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation is hourly plus tips. Comfortable working schedule, beautiful facility and an eagerness to create your own cocktails is encouraged! We are looking to fill both full time and part time roles and with open availability being very helpful, as events that require additional staff members happen frequently.
Debajo is a modern Spanish tapas restaurant located in the lower level of the MADE Hotel and the Lobby Bar is located on the ground level. You will have an opportunity to impact both spaces with your guest experience. Good Behavior is our rooftop bar and you will have a chance to work up there as well. Only applicants with significant bartending experience in high volume and craft cocktails will be considered.

Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Ability to learn the food menu and upsell guests
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
- Great knowledge of spirits as we have a very large collection
- Classic cocktail knowledge is a must
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Ability to serve and memorize food options
- Experience with Square is beneficial but not mandatory
- Wine knowledge encouraged
