What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Remodeler position at Made New Home Services, LLC?
Made New Home Services, LLC is a residential remodeling company based out of Johnson County, KS with a focus on basement, bathroom, and kitchen remodels and is looking for a Lead Remodeler to join our team.
A Lead Remodeler at Made New Home Services will be assisting in executing remodeling projects with a high level of precision and in eye for detail in turning our clients homes into their dream space. This position will be apart of a small crew that will be responsible for job site management and execution of labor. Labor tasks at that this position will include the ability to perform the following: demolition, framing, light drywall and texturing, light plumbing and electrical, painting walls and trim, finish carpentry, tile installation and any waterproofing of shower that is necessary in bathrooms.
Please note: applicants will not be considered if they do not have tiling, framing, drywall, and painting experience.
The ideal candidate would have 5 years of knowledge of the remodeling industry and be proficient in tiling, drywall, and painting. In other areas, our team is happy to train and mentor the right candidate. Job Responsibilities
-Consistency is key. We need someone who will be on time and ready to work
-Must be a self starter, able to manage his/her own schedule
-Must have a deep enough knowledge base to perform work with little to no guidance
-Tech savvy
-Executing punch lists
-Maintain a clean jobsite and take care of tools and equipment
-Working as a team to structure daily goals to complete weekly schedules on time
-Tile installation for flooring, backsplash and showers including all necessary waterproofing
-Drywall finishing and texturing
-Demolition and job site cleaning and organization
-Light framing such as decks, interior walls and beams, small additions
-Setting interior doors, casing, baseboard, window jambs, build closets, stair railings and custom millworks, and other general trim carpentry items
-Painting of walls, trim and doors
-Execute punch lists to close out jobs such as door hardware, outlet covers, bathroom accessories, and general touch up items
Experience and Education
- Must have proven experience of 5 years in remodeling
-Must have reliable daily transportation to and from job sites
-General understanding of basic remodeling techniques and methods of installation and general construction
-Proficient in using electric and manual power tools and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
-Must be able to read a tape measure efficiently
-Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
-Fluent in English
-Good understanding of basic math
-Ability to complete the physical requirements of the position
