Are you a dedicated radiology professional with leadership experience? Madelia Health is seeking an experienced Manager of Diagnostic Imaging to lead our radiology department. This is a dynamic, hands-on leadership role where you will oversee operations, ensure the provision of high-quality diagnostic imaging services, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Job Summary: Manager of Diagnostic Imaging

Position Type: Full-Time
Location: Madelia Health

Wage range: $81,889.60 to $124,467.20 (Based on Experience and Education)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage radiology staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA, infection control, and hazardous waste disposal.
• Maintain and update procedure manuals, oversee quality control programs, and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
• Work closely with hospital administration on departmental goals, budgets, and equipment acquisitions.
• Maintain operational knowledge and proficiency in CT, Mammography, Bone Density (Dexa), General Radiography, Portable Radiography, and C-arm (surgical cases).
• Ensure 24/7 coverage for the radiology department.
• Participate in safety drills, medical staff meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist with capital budget planning and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field. Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program accredited by the Joint Review Committee for Radiologic Technology Education (JRCRTE). Additional registry in Mammography, CT, and Bone Density (Dexa) preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hospital radiology experience (including CT) and at least 2 years in a leadership role involving personnel management, payroll, budgets, and capital planning.
• Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR).
