Madelia Health is looking for a welcoming and detail-oriented Clinic Patient Registration Representative to join our team. You’ll play a vital role in creating a positive experience for patients from the moment they walk through our doors.
This front desk position is perfect for someone who enjoys multitasking, helping others, and being part of a collaborative healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients and visitors in our clinic setting
Open the clinic each morning and secure it at the end of the day
Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments for both clinic and lab services
Register patients accurately and efficiently, verifying insurance and updating demographics
Scan and maintain documents in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
Ensure all consent and HIPAA forms are signed and filed
Collect and receipt payments, maintaining cashbox per facility process
Verify insurance eligibility and follow ABN/waiver procedures
Support continuous quality improvement and compliance initiatives
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience & Certifications: Not required but customer service and/or healthcare experience is a plus!
Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and computer literacy (especially in EHR systems)
