Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing robust IT software and network solutions to ensure alignment with the Veterans Administration's Technical Resource Model and their Enterprise Architecture.. This role requires a deep understanding of both technology and business processes, ensuring that our IT infrastructure supports the organization's strategic objectives.
Duties
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions are compliant with VA TRM and Enterprise Architecture technical specifications.
- Assist in the design of scalable, flexible, and secure IT solutions using best practices in IT governance.
- Oversee the implementation of microservices architecture to enhance system interoperability and performance.
- Conduct regular assessments of existing systems and recommend improvements or upgrades as necessary.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of architecture initiatives, ensuring adherence to established standards.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform architectural decisions.
Skills
- Proficient in IT architecture principles and frameworks, including Federal Enterprise Architecture, VA TRM and VA Enterprise Architecture.
- Strong experience in DevSecOps practices for continuous integration and delivery.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
- Experience with database management systems including MySQL, T-SQL, and NoSQL technologies.
- Knowledge of server management and cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Familiarity with microservices design patterns and implementation strategies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
